OnTarget Provides the Flexibility of Message Delivery through Email, Blogs and Social Media
Las Vegas, NV (September 26, 2013) – Nexion, the travel industry’s premier and most-trusted host travel agency, today announced the release of its OnTarget program, an exclusive interactive online marketing center. A complimentary service to Nexion agents, OnTarget offers social media and email marketing solutions, providing agents maximum reach in communicating with their clients. The announcement was made during CoNexion 2013 taking place September 26-28, 2013, at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

The three new modules that will be available to our agents will allow them to ‘opt in’ to any or all that meet their business objectives, so it is completely customizable.”
The three OnTarget modules provide email marketing, access to a content library, and the option to subscribe to automated social media posts – providing Nexion agents with the following:
- Flexible message delivery through email, Twitter, Facebook and blogs
- Access to educational, informative and promotional content
- Ability to promote Nexion supplier offers
- Email marketing tools integrated with ClientBase profiles
As email is still regarded as one of the most effective and powerful marketing tools, the email marketing module will provide agents with the ability to select supplier content and create a customized, professional emails to send to their clients. The content library will provide Nexion agents access to content from a wide range of sources including articles, videos, images, hotel and resort promotions, supplier promotions and guest supplier blogs. Agents will have the opportunity to pick and choose what content they would like to personalize and promote via their social media outlets. These two modules will be available to agents beginning on October 7.
The automated social media postingmodule is a social media program that will allow posts to be “published” to Nexion agents’ Facebook pages on their behalf. The program includes a pre-posting approval process thus allowing Nexion agents the ability to review content and approve or cancel each individual post. Ultimately, it will enable Nexion agents to continue engaging their customers regularly through their social media platforms, while not having to dedicate valuable resources to create content from scratch. The automated posts will include a variety of content from general destination information and travel quotes to articles, photos and supplier/promotional information. This module will be available in early 2014.
